It’s not hard to be a photographer…

when you have families like this at your session. Seriously. They were amazing and their little girl was just adorable and cooperative. It took her a bit to warm up to me but she did!
It helped that she loved my little belle and jasmine pez dispenser. :) See her crawlling toward me because of it!?! Hehe.
One of my favorite shots of the session. I love having the parent steal a smooch while the baby isn’t looking.
I love my job. I became a professional photographer for moments like this. I’m not always into the “cheese” expressions and stares into the camera. I just loving seeing this through the viewfinder. Her sweet little face and the proud look from her mommy and daddy. It’s the best.

While in Kauai, I had the honor of taking high school senior pictures of a young gentleman. He was charming yet shy. But he did good!
I also took pictures of his best girl. Oh what a sweetheart she is! I hope my daughters grow up to be a teen just like her. She is SO sweet. She was a baby born through adversity. Her mom had lupus when she was born and she only weighed 3lbs at birth. Adorable inside and out.
And here’s a cute shot of the two of them together. Oh to be young and in love again!

Are you going to be in high school? Do you know someone who is? maricar lianne photography is now doing a model search for high school senior reps for the school year 2008-2009. I’m looking for fresh, friendly and fun teens. I’ll need two seniors reps per high school so jump as soon as you can!
Here’s how it works! You get…
- a FREE summer photo session with 3-4 outfit changes and 2 locations
- a FREE fall/winter photo session with 3-4 outfit changes and 2 locations
- 25% off print prices
- a spiral bound 4×6 brag/proof book of all session pictures to show off to friends and family
- 100 rep/business cards with your images on it to hand out to your friends and family
- a cd with 5 web ready images suitable for you to use on your myspace or facebook website

- Props: Yup we could use them during the session too! Have a cool chair you really want in the shot? Do you play a musical instrument? Are you into sports? Let’s incorporate them into your session.
- Friends & family: Yes they could be in your pictures too! You could take pictures with your parents, siblings and best friends. There is a limit to 3 people in each shot though. The focus is you. It’s your year to shine!

A sweet family session…

with a family that I’ve known for forever! The mommy, Heidi, and I have had our shares of infertility challenges. But here we are now! Two kiddos later! I met up with them at her parents house by the beach and boy was it a magical morning.
Here’s their little boy running to his momma. Truly a magical moment. 
And the two kids having a cup of tea together in the backyard. Don’t you just love their dress up costumes!
And here’s a tender moment I captured between a granddaughter and her “Oma.”

You remember them right? My cousin Neena and her fiance were my first engagement session. Now they’re finally husband and wife! Congrats you guys!
They had an awesome wedding photographer so I made sure I didn’t step on too many toes to grab a few pictures.

I did a maternity session in Yakima about a month ago and was able to return to do a newborn session! It’s a boy and he’s a cutie pie!

My first business headshot session!

There’s a new physical therapist and pilates instructor in town and she asked me to take her new headshots! We used numerous outfits in the session. Some poses were simple/casual and others were fun/innovative. It was so fun!
It helped that she was a fine and toned gorgeous lady. She was so relaxed the entire time.
We tried out a new fun backdrop!
And we have a winner! This is the eventual shot that she chose for her new headshot! Yay!

A wedding’s a comin’!

I was the “official” photographer for my cousin, Neena’s wedding shower and boy did I have a blast!
The cake was cute and delicious at the same time.
There was a special performance by family members! So fun!
The party favors were handmade and so adorable. Little stitched picture frames! And that’s the picture I took of the happy couple too.
The excited soon to be husband and wife! Just a couple more weeks guys!

Three gorgeous little sisters…

I found this gem of a photo location the other day. It’s the Tualatin Wildlife Refuge on 99W. A gorgeous and peaceful place. I had a session there with three little sisters. I’ve known their mom since before Malia was born.
Here’s the oldest girl, Caitlyn. All of them had gorgeous smiles!
We found a nice field of daisies and made the most of it! Here’s the middle sister Kya.
And the baby, Kami. They all looks so different yet they all have the beautiful features their mommy has.
